There is an Annual Field Meeting & AGM, usually the first weekend (Thursday-Sunday) after Easter. We aim to move the location around Britain. Accommodation is usually field centre type. During the day a variety of sites are visited for the purposes of species recording. During the evenings short talks, identification workshops or other activities are held depending on demand and attendance. Notice of the meeting is given in the newsletter. Visitors from other countries are always welcome and should enquire of any of the officers for further information.
Additional Field Meetings are arranged from time to time, details given in the newsletters.
A list previous field meeting and links to respective field meeting reports can be found here.
BMIG Bursaries have been introduced to help towards the costs of attending the annual field meetings. If the expense of travel and accommodation is putting you off coming to an annual meeting, a BMIG Bursary may be for you. More information here
