Identification
A small straw coloured centipede (to 18 mm) with between 39-49 leg pairs. It is similar in appearance to the common Schendyla nemorensis, but differs in the shape of the last pair of legs.
Distribution and Habitat
An exclusively coastal species, mainly in South-west England and south Wales. It typically occurs under stones on muddy shores, in rock crevices, etc.
