Identification

This is the species formerly known as Geophilus insculptus (as used by Barber, 2009, identification keys) and subsequently Geophilus alpinus.
 

A yellowish-orange centipede (to 40 mm) with distinct carpophagus fossae on the anterior sternites. The arrangement of the coxal pores of the last leg pair is distinctive.
